He attended Lebanon Schools.\u00a0 IN 1943 he entered the US Navy serving during WWII.\u00a0 Following the war he returned to Lebanon and was employed by Goodyear Rubber Company of Windsor, VT.\u00a0 He was married to Guelda Bellimer in Lebanon on July 7, 1949.\u00a0 Mr. Roy worked at Dartmouth College in Hanover as a security guard for many years.\u00a0 He later worked at the Lebanon Post Office for 18 years retiring in 1986.\u00a0 He was a member of the Franklin Lodge #6, F & A.M. of Lebanon, Washington Council # 10 of Lebanon, and Bektash Shriners Temple of Concord, NH.\u00a0 He was also a life member of the White River Rost # 2571 Veterans of Foreign Wars.<\/p>\n
A Funeral service was held Monday at 10:00 AM in the Ricker Funeral Home in Lebanon with the Rev. Richard N. Slater officiating.\u00a0 Burial with full military honors followed in the West Lebanon Cemetery.<\/p>\n
