Sturtevant"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>From the September 18, 1996 issue of The Country Chronicle<\/p>\n<p>Orange, NH&#8211;Laura M.&nbsp; Sturtevant, 84, died Saturday morning, Sept.&nbsp; 14, 1996 at the home of her sister in Canaan, NH, following a brief illness.<\/p>\n<p>She was born in Danbury, NH on May 26, 1912, the daughter of the late Robert &amp; Ora (Tucker) Gallup.&nbsp; She had been a lifelong resident of Orange and had attended the Canaan United Methodist Church.<\/p>\n<p>There were no calling hours.&nbsp; A graveside service was held on Sept.&nbsp; 17th in the Wells Cemetery in Canaan.&nbsp; Ricker Funeral Home of Lebanon was in charge of arrangements.<\/p>\n<p>Survivors include:&nbsp; Son, Warren Morrill, Orange; Step-son, Richard Morrill, OK; Sisters, Inez Laware, Canaan; Myrtle Cooper, and Carrie Williams, Grafton; Brother, Donald Gallup, Grafton; Several grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, many dear friends.<\/p>\n<p>Preceded in death by:&nbsp; Second husband, Lewis Sturtevant, died 1978; brother, Adeney Gallup.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From the September 18, 1996 issue of The Country Chronicle Orange, NH&#8211;Laura M.&nbsp; Sturtevant, 84, died Saturday morning, Sept.&nbsp; 14, 1996 at the home of her sister in Canaan, NH, following a brief illness.
