Enfield, NH–Edwin G. Huntley, Jr., 93, died Tuesday morning Dec. 10, 1996 at the Hanover Terrace Healthcare Center in Hanover, NH. He was born in Bridgewater, VT Sept. 1, 1903, the son of the late Edwin G. & Hattie May (Bean) Huntley, Sr. A resident of Lebanon and Enfield for most of his life, he was a graduate of Hesser Business College in Manchester, NH (1927). He had worked as a dairy farmer, and as a textile worker at the Baltic Mills for many years. He was a member of the Mt. Calm Grange for over 50 years; and a member over 60 years of the Franklin Lodge #6 F.A.M. of Lebanon. He was married in 1933 to Sarah Bella (Nixon) who died in 1988.<\/p>\n
There were no calling hours. Graveside Services will be held in the spring in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Enfield, NH.<\/p>\n
Arrangements are under the direction of the Ricker Funeral Home of Lebanon, NH.<\/p>\n
Survivors include: Daughter, Katherine N. Poire, Enfield, NH; 5 Grandchildren; many great-grandchildren.<\/p>\n
