Seward, Alaska \u2013 Donald A. Blair, 36, died Sunday (September 26th<\/sup>) in Seward as a result of an ATV accident.<\/p>\n Donald was born in Heidelberg, Germany on October 5, 1956, the son of Jerry amd Nancy Cantlin Blair, formerly of Lebanon.\u00a0 Donald lived in Southeastern Alaska until 1972 when he moved with his family to Del ray Beach, Florida. \u00a0He graduated from Atlantic High School in 1975.<\/p>\n In 1979 he married his high school sweetheart, Susan Beck.\u00a0 Donald and Susan moved with their family to Seward in 1991 t be near his family and to join the family business, Iceberg & Sun Vending, which he was managing at the time of his death.<\/p>\n Donald enjoyed his family and the great outdoors of Alaska.\u00a0 He volunteered in many events that involved his family.<\/p>\n Donald is survived by his wife; a son, Brian Daniel, 12; two daughters, Casey Elizabeth, 6, and Brittany Ann, 3; his parents; his brother and sister-inlaw David and Lotta Blair and their three children; his sister and brother-in-law Chuck and Debra Lechner and their three children, all of Seward; and his brother, Daniel of Anchorage, Alaska.\u00a0 Donald is survived locally by Uncles, Aunts, and Cousins in the Cantlin family.<\/p>\n A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Thursday (September 30t) at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Seward.<\/p>\n Memorial contributions may be made to a college fund established for Donald and Sue\u2019s children: The Donald Blair Memorial Fund, P.O> Box 793, Seward, Alaska 99664.<\/p>\n The Ricker Funeral Home of Lebanon was in charge of arrangements locally.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" from the October 6, 1993 issue of The Country Chronicle Seward, Alaska \u2013 Donald A.
