Lebanon, NH–Bertha Almira Pellerin, 89, died Friday, May 26, 1995 at the Alice Peck Day Extended Care Facility in Lebanon, NH where she had been a resident for the last five years.<\/p>\n
She was born in Franklin, NH May 29, 1905, the daughter of Lewis & Ethel A. (Clark) Pellerin. \u00a0She graduated from Enfield High School in 1925 and from Keene Normal School in 1929 with a Bachelors Degree in Home Economics. \u00a0She taught in Chester, VT and Newmarket, NH, and spent 40 years teaching in Franklin, NH retiring in 1970. \u00a0She moved to Lebanon in 1979 and had resided at the home of Elsie Smith in Canaan, NH from 1983-1990.<\/p>\n
She was a member of the NH Retired Teacher’s Association, AARP, a former member of the Franklin Baptist Church and the Polly Annas, and she was also Superintendent of Sunday Schools.<\/p>\n
A funeral service was conducted Tuesday morning, May 30 at 10 a.m. in the Ricker Funeral Home in Lebanon with the Rev. Dale Edwards officiating. \u00a0Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. in the Franklin Cemetery in Franklin, NH. \u00a0Memorial contributions in memory of Bertha may be made to the Alice Peck Day Extended Care Facility, 125 Mascoma St., Lebanon, NH \u00a003766.<\/p>\n
Survivors include: \u00a0a niece, Mary Ann Pellerin of Mitcheville, MD; \u00a0a nephew, John Pellerin of Claremont; \u00a0a longtime companion, Elsie Smith of Canaan; \u00a0grand-nieces and nephews and great-grand-nieces and nephews and cousins.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
