Remacle"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>from the March 20, 1996 issue of The Country Chronicle<\/p>\n<p>Canaan, NH&#8211;Charlotte M.\u00a0 (Beede) Remacle, 70, died Monday, March 11, 1996 at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center following a long illness.<\/p>\n<p>She was born in Canaan on January 30, 1926, the daughter of Julius W. and Donalda (Defosey) Beede.\u00a0 She graduated from Laconia (NH) High School and from a hairdressing school in Concord.\u00a0 A hairdresser in the Upper Valley area for more than 30 years, she was married to Roger L.\u00a0 &#8220;Leo&#8221; Remacle Sr.\u00a0 on Sept. 22, 1973.<\/p>\n<p>Mrs.\u00a0 Remacle is survived by her husband; three stepsons-Frank C.\u00a0 Remacle Sr. of Canadaigua, NY, Frederick V.\u00a0 Remacle of Virginia Beach, VA, and William J.\u00a0 Remacle of Silverdale, WA; a stepdaughter, Michele T.\u00a0 Clark of North Haverhill, NH; many step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren; aunts and cousins.<\/p>\n<p>Calling hours were Wednesday, March 13th from 7-9 p.m.\u00a0 at the Ricker Funeral Home in Enfield, NH.<\/p>\n<p>A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday at 10 a.m. at St.\u00a0 Mary&#8217;s Church in Canaan.\u00a0 Burial will be in the spring in Wells Cemetery in Canaan.\u00a0 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Canaan F.A.S.T.
