Papineau"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>from the July 3, 1996 issue of The Country Chronicle<\/p>\n<p>Lebanon, NH&#8211;John L.\u00a0 Papineau, 80, died Tuesday morning at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH.\u00a0 He was born in Montreal, Canada May 17, 1916, the son of the late Elziar &amp; Eleza (Pion) Papineau.\u00a0 He was raised in Canada and later had lived and worked in Concord, NH for many years.\u00a0 He had been a resident of Lebanon, NH since 1992.<\/p>\n<p>Services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.<\/p>\n<p>The Ricker Funeral Home of Lebanon, NH was in charge of the arrangements.<\/p>\n<p>Survivors include:\u00a0 his wife, Lillian B.\u00a0 (McAlister) Papineau of Lebanon, NH; a stepdaughter, Jean L.\u00a0 Cotting of Orange, NH; a stepson, Fred E.\u00a0 Cornwell of Enfield, NH; a stepson, Richard C Marsh of Enfield, NH; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>from the July 3, 1996 issue of The Country Chronicle Lebanon, NH&#8211;John L.\u00a0 Papineau, 80, died Tuesday morning at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH.\u00a0 He was born in Montreal, Canada May 17, 1916, the son of the late Elziar &amp; Eleza (Pion) Papineau.\u00a0 He was raised in Canada and later had lived and &hellip; <a href=\"https:\/\/canaanlibrary.org\/history\/?p=360\" class=\"more-link\">Continue reading <span class=\"screen-reader-text\">John L.
