Donald Jackson Newhall

Crystal River, FL – Donald Jackson Newhall, 78, formerly of Enfield, NH, died at his home in Florida Wednesday morning May 12, 1993.  He was born in Royalston, MA Feb. 21, 1915 the of the late Ralph E. and Inez L. (Stetson) Newhall.  He had been employed by Split Ballbearing Co.  He was a member of the West Lebanon Baptist Church, the Mt. Calm Grange, and the Odd Fellows Lodge of Enfield.  He was married to Mabel V. (Chadwick) in Grantham, NH Sept. 6, 1937.  They had been residents of Florida for the last 4 ½ years.

Friends called at the Ricker Funeral Home in Enfield on Thursday evening from 6-9 pm.  Funeral services were conducted on Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. in the West Lebanon Baptist Church.  The Rev. Dead Eggert officiated.  Burial followed in the Lakeview Cemetery in Enfield, NH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to: Hospice of Citrus County, 3350 West Audubon Park Pat, Lecanto, FL 34461.

Survivors include his wife, Mabel V. (Chadwick) Newhall of Crystal River, FL,a  son, Donald J. Newhall Jr., of Westford, AR, a step-son, Robert C. Chadwick of Manchester, NH, a daughter, Pauline Reeves of Crystal River, FL, a daughter, Marjorie Forbes of Lyme, NH, a daughter, Mernie Poitras of Dorchester, NH, a ssster, Ruth Hardy of Crystal River, FL, a sister, Mernie Colburn of Orange, CA, a sister, Marion Horne of LaPorte, IN, 20 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  He was preceeded in death by his parents, Inez L. Stetson and Ralph E. Newhall.

Arrangements were by Ricker Funeral Home in Lebanon.

Norma Rose Cugini

Enfield Center, NH – Norma Rose Cugini, 78, formerly of Moravia, NY died Thursday morning May 6, 1993 at the home of her daughter following a long illness.  She was born in Summerhill, NY July 18, 1914, the daughter of the late Ross and Goldie (Lick) Bacon.  She had been a registered nurse in New York City for many years and had been living with her daughter in Enfield Center for the las few weeks.

There will be no calling hours.  A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday, May 10 at 9 am at the St. Helenas Church in Enfield.  Burial was Tuesday in the St. Johns Cemetery in Queens, NY.  The Ricker Funeral Home of Lebanon was in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her daughter, Donna Blake from Enfield Center, a son, John V. Cugini from Walkersville, MD, five grandchildren, a great-grandson, several nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was preceeded in death by  her husband, C. John Cugini who died in 1967, her father, Ross Bacon, her mother, Goldie Lick, and her brother Harold Bacon.
