Francis G. “Frank” LaLiberte

Grafton, N.H. — Francis G. LaLiberte, Chief of Police in Grafton, NH, died June 16 at the VA Medical Center in Hartford, Vt.  He was born March 19, 1932, in Swanzey, NH, the son of Romeo LaLiberte and Eunice Rose Stone.  He attended school in Worcester, Mass.  Mr. LaLiberte was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean conflict and received a Bronze Star.  He lived in Gardner, Mass., for many years, where he was employed as a construction supervisor for Michael Haas Construction Co.  He moved to Grafton in 1976.

Mr. LaLiberte was a member of the VFW of Gardner, Mass, and the American Legion of Gardner and Grafton.

Survivors include is his wife, Eileen McKeon LaLiberte and his son, Michael Francis LaLiberte of Grafton, five brothers, four sisters, and many nieces and nephews.  Graveside service was held Monday, June 20, at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Grafton with full military honors.
