Agnes L. LaLiberte

Lebanon, NH–Agnes L.  LaLiberte, 83, died October 18, 1995 at McKierley’s Healthcare Center in Lebanon, NH.  The daughter of the late John Goodell and Julia O.   Stevens, she was moved to Lebanon from Littleton with her family at the age of 12.  She attended Lebanon High School where she played basketball.  She was married to Oscar N.  LaLiberte on Oct. 20, 1949.  In 1950 they began the operation of Oscar’s Trailer Park and Oscar’s General Store on the Mt.  Support Road in Lebanon.  She was a member of Sacred Heart Parish in Lebanon.

Mr. LaLiberte died in 1984.  She also worked for 20 years at Carter & Churchill in Lebanon.  Mrs.  LaLiberte retired from her family business in 1982.  Agnes enjoyed snowshoeing until she was in her 70’s, she also enjoyed feeding birds, tending to her yard and garden, flowers, and spending time with her family.

Friends called at the Ricker Funeral Home in Lebanon on Thursday afrernoon from 2-4 p.m. and Thursday evening from 7-9 p.m.  A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday at 10 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Church in Lebanon with burial following in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Survivors include:  a daughter, Loretta LaBarre Despres of Granger, IN;  a son, Paul R.  LaBarre of Southington, CT; a daughter, Theresa E.  Boutin of Lebanon; a sister, Violet Logan of Lebanon, a sister, Margaret Kelly of Lebanon, a sister, Rachel Caron of Goshen, a sister, Alice Caron of Goshen, a sister, Dorothy Trottier of Lyme, 13 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
