Marion LaFountain

Marion LaFountain, 85, died Tuesday evening October 19 at the Alice Peck Day Extended Care Facility in Lebanon, NH.  She was born in Franklin, NH May 31, 1908, the daughter of the late Roscoe B. & Bessie S. (Morrill) Smith,  She was a resident of Canaan, West, Canaan, and Enfield most of her life and attended local schools.  For many years she worked as a spinner in the American and the Baltic Woolen Mills.  She loved to do needlework, and was a  member of Pomona Grange for over 50 years.  She was married to William A. LaFountain June 1, 1983.

Friends may call at the Ricker Funeral Home, Route 4 in Enfield Friday evening from 7-9 P.M.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday Morning at 10 A.M. in St. Helenas Church of Enfield.  Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Survivors include: husband, William A. LaFountain, Enfield, NH; brother, Howard Smith, Newport, NH; several nieces and nephews.
