Clayton R. “Hutch” Hutchins, 51, died Tuesday, August 15, 2000 at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. He was born in Hanover, NH January 24, 1949, a son of Marjorie (Berry) and Russell O. Hutchins. He grew up in Norwich, VT and he worked in the construction business, and for the last many years, had owned and operated his own business — Clayton Hutchins Excavating. He was a member of the Hartford Elks, and the Lebanon Lions Club. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, animals, football, and most of all his grandchildren.

Services were held on Saturday morning at 10 am in Ricker Funeral Home in Enfield with Rev. Dale Edwards, officiating. The family requested in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to: The Upper Valley Habitat for Humanity, PO Box 1038, White River Junct., VT 05001.
