John C. Johnson, Jr.

Grafton, NH–John C. Johnson, Jr., 36, of Grafton died on March 20, in Dorchester, NH. He was born in Lebanon on February 20, 1964 the son of the late John C. Johnson, Sr. and Vicki Maude Roberts Johnson. He was a lifelong resident of the Upper Valley and was a graduate of Mascoma Valley Regional High School. He was self employed in this area as a carpenter. He owned and operated John’s Fine Carpentry. He enjoyed his travels to Guam, Thailand, Korea, and loved to ride snowmobiles in this area.

He is survived by a daughter, Samantha Johnson of Grafton; two sisters, Bonnie Lee Johnson of Springfield, VA and Linda Johnson of Grafton; 3 brothers, Derek Drewniak of Enfield, Michael LaLiberte of Grafton, and Ralph Johnson of CA. An aunt and an uncle.

Glenda Ada Sleeper Johnson

Manchester, NH–Glenda Ada Sleeper-Johnson, 45, died Monday, Oct.  21, 1996 at her home following a brief illness.  She was born in Hanover, NH Jan.  7, 1951, the daughter of  Lee V.  & Ada M.  (Morse) Sleeper.  She lived in Canaan and Enfield, NH for many years and attended local schools.  She had been a Manchester resident for the last 16 years.  She enjoyed music and yard sales.

Ricker Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.  Burial followed in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Grafton, NH.

Survivors include:  Mother, Ada M.  (Morse) Sleeper, Enfield, NH; Husband, Douglas Johnson, Manchester, NH; Sister, Sharon Pillsbury, Canaan, NH; Sister, Elizabeth Guerin, Enfield, NH; Sister, Betty Dion, Gilford, NH; Brother, Larry Sleeper, Canaan, NH; Brother, Kenneth Sleeper, Enfield, NH; Brother, Richard R.  Garrison, Enfield, NH; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceded in death by:  Father, Lee V.  Sleeper, died Nov.  1957; Brother, Lee Sleeper, died Feb.  1984; Brother, Ralph Sleeper, died March 1944.
