Canaan, NH–Patricia T. Kilton, 64, of Canaan, died on Monday, August 4, 2003 at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. She was born in Wahiawa, Oahu, HI on June 18, 1939 a daughter of James George and Margaret Mary (Mraz) Balluf. She came to the United States mainland as a child and grew up in Chicago. She attended Loylla College in Chicago. She has been a resident of Canaan since 1982. She was married to John R. Kilton Jr. in 1971 and they made their home in Canaan where she was the editor of The Country Chronicle newspaper for the past 11 years. Pat was a past member of the Canaan Lioness Club.
She is survived by her husband: John R. Kilton Jr. of Canaan, NH; a son: James J. Kilton of Sacremento, CA; a daughter: Shannon K. Wyman of Piermont, NH; 3 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services were held on Thursday, August 7 at 10:30 am at the St. Helena’s Church in Enfield. In lieu of flowers the family asked that memorial contributions be made in her name to: St. Helena’s Church, RFD #2, Box 26, Enfield, NH 03748.
The Ricker Funeral Home & Crematory of Lebanon was in charge of arrangements.
