He attended Lebanon Schools.  IN 1943 he entered the US Navy serving during WWII.  Following the war he returned to Lebanon and was employed by Goodyear Rubber Company of Windsor, VT.  He was married to Guelda Bellimer in Lebanon on July 7, 1949.  Mr. Roy worked at Dartmouth College in Hanover as a security guard for many years.  He later worked at the Lebanon Post Office for 18 years retiring in 1986.  He was a member of the Franklin Lodge #6, F & A.M. of Lebanon, Washington Council # 10 of Lebanon, and Bektash Shriners Temple of Concord, NH.  He was also a life member of the White River Rost # 2571 Veterans of Foreign Wars.

A Funeral service was held Monday at 10:00 AM in the Ricker Funeral Home in Lebanon with the Rev. Richard N. Slater officiating.  Burial with full military honors followed in the West Lebanon Cemetery.
