Canaan, NH–Theodore Wesley Edmands, 70, died Friday, August 20, 1999 at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH following a lengthy illness. He was born in Melrose, MA Oct. 28, 1928, a son of Edward W. Edmunds Jr. and Helen M. Cook of Wakefield, MA. He was educated in Wakefield public schools and in 1951 moved to Los Angeles and received a B.S. Degree in engineering. He was employed at Douglas Aircraft for 9 years and Northrup Corp. for 30 years retiring to Tarpon Springs, FL in 1990 where he spent the winter months. For the last 3 years he has been a resident of Lebanon and Canaan during the summer.
There will be no calling hours. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 11am in the Canaan United Methodist Church with the Rev. Patricia Williams officiating. Burial will be in the Forest Glen Cemetery in Wakefield, MA Thursday morning at 11am with the Rev. Richard Wisenback officiating.
The Ricker Funeral Home of Lebanon, NH is in charge of arrangements.
