West Lebanon—Jennifer Lyn Smith, 23, died Friday, May 13, at her home in West Lebanon.

She was born on April 5, 1971 in Lebanon, the daughter of Richard A. Clark of Lebanon and Cheryl Devault of Phoenix, AZ.

She graduated from Lebanon High School in 1989 where she enjoyed gymnastics.  She was a devoted mother and she also greatly enjoyed serving people as a nurse’s aide.  She will be greatly missed by many of her clients, who were refreshed by the warmth of her care.  At the time of her death she was employed by the Visiting Nurse Alliance of New Hampshire and Vermont.

She had lived for over four years in West Lebanon with her husband, Sasha K. Smith, their son, Damian, and daughter, Desiree Ann.

In addition to her parents, she leaves her grandparents, Arthur and Alma Clark of Lebanon; a brother, Dana Clark of Keene; two uncles; Philip Clark of Lebanon and Sidney Clark of Charleston, SC; three aunts; Judi Chatman of Dover, Jean Townsend of Canaan, and Suzanne Clark of Hanover; a great-aunt, Ruth Clark Hastings of Denver, CO; and cousins; Shelli Chatman of Dover, Sundari and Christopher Meacham of Canaan, and Ian Clark of Enfield.

A private memorial service was held at the home of her father- and mother-in-law, Donald and Raymona Sharkey, in Sharon, Vt, on Sunday, May 22.
