Enfield, NH–David V. Altmannsberger, Sr., 65, died Thursday evening July 6, 2000. He was born in Clinton, CT July 15, 1934, a son of the late Robert L. and Ida May (Adams) Altmannsberger, and attended schools in the Clinton School System. In 1963 he founded and built the Glenwood Market in Clinton, CT and was owner and proprietor, along with his wife of 44 years Sue (Ward) Altmansberger until 1972. He moved to Grafton, NH where he was a master builder and craftsman until his sudden death while at work on July 6, 2000. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and loved playing cards.
A memorial service will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: The American Heart Association, 20 Merrimack St., Suite #1, Manchester, NH 03101-2244.
