Pauline Mary Black

Canaan, NH–Pauline Mary Black, 84, a lifelong resident of Canaan and Orange, NH, died Sunday April 25, 1999 at the Hanover Terrace Healthcare Center in Hanover, NH. She was born in Orange, NH on July 17, 1914, the daughter of the late Everett E. and Viola M. (Lane) Eastman. For many years she had been employed at the Baltic Woolen Mills of Enfield, NH. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Canaan, and loved the outdoors and gardening. She was married to Elwin S. Black who died in 1980.

There were no calling hours. Graveside Committal Services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 pm in the Orange (NH) Cemetery.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to: The Canaan F.A.S.T. Squad, Canaan, NH 03741 or to: Mascoma Health Services, Main St., Canaan, NH 03741.

The Ricker Funeral Home of Lebanon was in charge of arrangements.
