Canaan, NH–Frederick Bryson, 83, of Canaan, died July 23, 1999, at his home, after a period of illness. He was born in Ireland on September 9, 1915, and came to the United States with his mother when he was only 6 years old.
He was a veteran of World War II. After discharge from the service, he and his wife moved to Tampa, FL. They spent 54 years together. The last 50 years were spent in Canaan, NH where he was a dairy farmer until his retirement in 1978. He served the Town of Canaan for 7 years and served 2 terms on the MVRHS School Board.
He was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Ellan of Canaan; one son, Frederick Jr. of Canaan, and five daughters-Patricia Bryson, Colleen Johnston and Linda LaBelle, all of Canaan, Sue Ellan Kolives of Keene, and Beverly Gibbs of Hartwood, VA. Also Nine grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
A celebration of his life will be held at the Bryson home on Grist Mill Hill Rd., at 1:00 on Tuesday, July 27.
