Canaan, NH–Louise Pound Krayer, 96, a long-time summer resident of Canaan Street, died on February 4, 1998 in Bar Harbor, ME. Mrs. Krayer moved to Maine in 1985 from Scarsdale, NY but continued to spend summers in Canaan until 1994. She is survived by a brother, Thomas Hanson of Scottsdale, AZ; her daughter and son, Judith P. Swazey of Bar Harbor, ME and Donald L. Pound of Montpelier, VT; her stepdaughters, Gerry Burr of Louisville, KY and Marilyn Lawrence of New Orleans, LA; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Contributions in Mrs. Krayer’s memory may be made to the Canaan Library or to the Old North Church Fund.
