Canaan, NH–Dorothy Rita (White) Moore, 76, died Tuesday morning, October 5, 1999 at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH following a long illness, She was born in Lebanon, NH on May 17, 1923, a daughter of the late Leo L. and Evelyn (Berube) White. A lifelong resident of the Upper Valley, she was a graduate of Lebanon High School-Class of 1942, where she was active in many activities including sports and music. She was married to Walter Joseph Moore who died March 30, 1986. Dorothy enjoyed sports and fishing, travel, flowers, singing, cribbage and spending time with her family.
Friends called at the Ricker Funeral Home, 56 School Street, Lebanon, NH Saturday afternoon from 1-3 pm. Burial followed in the West Canaan Cemetery. Floral tributes are encouraged.
