Henry G. Gauthier

Lebanon – Henry G. Gauthier, 83, died May 22, 1994 at the Alice Peck Day Extended Care Facility in Lebanon, N.H.  The son of the late Frank and Rose (Dessert) Cauthier, he was born on April 18, 1911 in Lebanon.  He had been a resident of Lebanon all his life and attended Lebanon Schools.  On May 9, 1943 he married Marion Finn.   Mr. Gauthier was a U.S. Army Airforce Veteran of WWII serving in the European Theatre.  He had been employed for many years in area saw mills as a lumberjack and before his retirement had worked at Thames Valley Steel in New London, Conn.  Friends called at the Ricker Funeral Home in Lebanon on Tuesday evening from 7-9 p.m.  A mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Church in Lebanon.  Burial followed in the Valley Cemetery in Lebanon.

Survivors include: his wife, Marion A. Finn of West Lebanon; a daughter, Rosemary Saunders of Hartland, Vt.; a daughter, June Marie Church of Central Village, Ct.; daughter, Betty Jean Cook of Enfield; a son, Henry G. Gauthier, Jr. of Newark, Delaware; a brother, Frank Gauthier of Enfield; a brother, Louis Gauthier of Lebanon; a brother, Raymond Gauthier, 14 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter, many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and four sisters.

Ricker Funeral Home of Lebanon was in charge of arrangements.
