Laura M. Sturtevant

Orange, NH–Laura M.  Sturtevant, 84, died Saturday morning, Sept.  14, 1996 at the home of her sister in Canaan, NH, following a brief illness.

She was born in Danbury, NH on May 26, 1912, the daughter of the late Robert & Ora (Tucker) Gallup.  She had been a lifelong resident of Orange and had attended the Canaan United Methodist Church.

There were no calling hours.  A graveside service was held on Sept.  17th in the Wells Cemetery in Canaan.  Ricker Funeral Home of Lebanon was in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include:  Son, Warren Morrill, Orange; Step-son, Richard Morrill, OK; Sisters, Inez Laware, Canaan; Myrtle Cooper, and Carrie Williams, Grafton; Brother, Donald Gallup, Grafton; Several grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, many dear friends.

Preceded in death by:  Second husband, Lewis Sturtevant, died 1978; brother, Adeney Gallup.
